Well we saw it in the 80s and now it seems to be back again. I'm talking about the denim on denim trend, in which you wear denim on both the top AND bottom. Recent collections by Chloe, D & G, and Ralph Lauren have suggested this look will be in for spring/summer in Australia. I'm a little more apprehensive in believing this trend will really take off. Don't get me wrong, I love my skinny jeans as much as the next girl. But to pair them with a denim shirt or jacket? Give me a plain white t-shirt any day!
Chloe - I'm not a huge fan of the patchwork detailing.
D & G - If I were to wear this trend, I think I like this look the most. The belt and t-shirt help to avoid the heavy denim look.
Ralph Lauren - A little too baggy and masculine for my liking!
Alexa Chung rocks the denim - But let's face it, she could wear a potato sack and still look stylish! I do like how she's used darker denim on the bottom and lighter on the top.
